Why Blais Coaching?

Nate Blais

Sound training principles, centered on you.

I'm pursuing my PhD in soil science, researching biogeochemistry and microbiology. That work has taught me how to think critically about evidence and understand complex biological and chemical systems. The most rewarding aspect of my work in academia is teaching and mentoring—combined with my passion for cycling, coaching was a natural fit. Over the past half decade, I've been deeply invested in learning and applying sound training principles, progressing to race at a local elite level in XC mountain biking and cyclocross. Now I help others get the most out of their time cycling.

My coaching style uses evidence-based principles while acknowledging where the science falls short. I combine research with athlete experience, my own racing background, and insights from the broader endurance community to create training that works for you.
